The Holiday Season!

The holiday season in Room 107 has been quite exciting! Between the visit from Mrs. Santa, making Bunny cake and the Gingerbread Man study, we have had a lot going on!

Ready! Set! Go!

On Thursday, Kindergarten celebrated Ready, Set, Go-- a math and literacy game day.
We played sight-word Bingo to get ready, and then a rousing game of Jeopardy, in which all thw questions delt with the first Thanksgiving celebration.
Much fun was had by all, especially with the parental support from Mrs. Bullins' class.

We had a GREAT day in Kindergarten! We learned about animals that live on a farm and how milk comes out of a cow.

Apple Tasting Day

Today in room 107 was apple tasting day. We tasted sour apples, then we tasted regular apples, and then we tasted dried apples. Finally, we tasted apple butter crackers.
We liked the sour apples the best!
We used the apple peeler, and our 5 senses. We heard the squeak of the peeler,the whir of the wheel turning and the crunch of the apple. We saw the juice dripping and squirting out of the apple!
The apples felt sticky in our hands.
They were very tasty.

My Favorite Thing

My favorite thing in school this year was when we had a Christmas party. It was in our class room. We had Santa Claus cookies and Christmas cupcakes and white Cheddar popcorn and hi-c punch. It was my favorite thing because I only have to wait 5 days until my birthday.

On Thursday April 1 me and my mom went to get her car inspected at walmart.me and my mom and dad could go to Atlanta.Wen my dad came home from work we went back to Wamart to get my moms car.when we got back my mom still was ironing clothes.Dadwas cleaning out the car so we could go to Atlanta.We had to load the car so we could get on the road.I took my Nintendo ds and my movie tv that I watch in the car and my cd player.Then we all got in the car and we got on the highway to go to Atlanta.When we got to Atlanta to my mom and dads Friends house, my cousin arrived. Mr Simeyon helped us get the bags out of the car.Then we all went to bed.We got up in the middle of the night to see if we was going to have a tornado.Then we went back to bed.We got up in the morning. MR.simmeyon an MS.angle had to go to work.Me my mom and dad and Nijah went to ihop to eat breakfast.Then we went to the Georgia aquarium.we saw animals like sea lions and whales. After that we went to the cola center. We saw every cola collection. We saw a movie then we saw the factory.last we tasted every kind of drink from every country.Then we went to the cnn center ate lunch there.Then we took a tour round the cnn center.Then we left then we went to the Georgian terrace hotel. there we unloaded the car.After that we checked in room number1706.Then we went to mary macs to eat dinner and then we went to cvs.After that we went to the hotel.We stayed up for a little while and went to bed.

Dr.Wham came last Friday. He showed us what might happen to our teeth. He made a coin go in the can. He made Isaiah Shepard's teeth turn pink to show the plaque. He showed us how the germs multiply. He showed us rotten teeth.

Dr.Wham came to visit us on Friday. He did lots of magic tricks for us. He put a quarter in a soda can. Dr.Wham put pink in Isaiah Sheperd's mouth to show plaque . He flossed Janez and Dominique between the shoulders. He took sugar out of Vanessa Urandes body. Thank you Dr. Wham for giving us a tooth brush. Dr.Wham told us not to eat lots of candy.
